You are not alone
Feeling stuck? Anxiety and burnout running high?
You are not alone.
Hi, I'm Itzel Molina-Kern
The cross-section between people and technology is where magic happens
Described as someone who “amplifies our human I.Q.,” Itzel bridges gaps in culture, language, and human performance through organizational psychology and continuous-improvement methodologies. She has a talent for making complex data accessible and practical — strengthening organizational culture in user-friendly, pragmatic ways. Outside of work, Itzel cherishes time with her two sons, her husband, and her dog, Kadar.
Prior to founding SafetyWell, Itzel served as VP of Health and Safety, Americas, for a multinational company, as well as Head of Health and Safety Training at the University of Southern California (USC) for over a decade.
“I believe I've been preparing for this legacy role of promoting transformation in individuals and organizations by exploring various disciplines that illuminate human behavior from different perspectives.”
“The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes of mind.”
Transformation through emotional intelligence
Safe & Well DBT builds the skills behind more effective functioning — helping diverse individuals cope with stress and move toward success.
As a licensed psychotherapist in California and her native Costa Rica, Itzel has a strong foundation in cross-cultural responsive therapy, drawing on her experience as a multicultural and multilingual clinician with diverse populations.
Working with mid- to high-level managers and leaders, Itzel excels at dismantling overlooked barriers to change — language obstacles, emotional-processing diversity, cultural differences, neurodivergence, and the intersection of private and professional identities.
A pioneer in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) — one of few Latin American therapists certified in it — Itzel holds a master's in Clinical Psychology from USC and 20 years of health-and-safety leadership in corporate and academic settings.

Closing the gap between how work feels and how work performs
One comprehensive solution
SafetyWell brings workplace culture and safety performance together — an alternative to HR-driven culture transformation activities.
Health and safety, equally
A paradigm shift that emphasizes both. A holistic, integrated perspective addresses worker well-being comprehensively, rather than concentrating on safety while neglecting health.
Trust drives results
Real transformation needs two things: effective health & safety programs and a healthy workplace culture. Trust delivers better compliance, productivity, culture, and retention.
